Y1 PADEL AMBASSADORS
Represent a padel brand.
For members who compete for the club, Y1 Padel’s sponsorship programme is a chance to represent a British padel brand alongside Oxford.
Y1 Padel is the padel brand of Y1 Sport, a British sports company that began in 2012 and launched its first full padel range in 2025. It describes itself as a carbon-neutral padel brand, and it follows university padel closely, featuring clubs from the National University Padel League, ours among them, on its Instagram account, @y1padel.
Join the team
Y1 invites players to apply for sponsorship through the Padel Sponsorship page of its website.
Help shape the kit
Y1 says its athletes help to design the kit they play in, and it features them in its Athlete Hub.
HOW TO APPLY
Apply directly through Y1’s Padel Sponsorship page. Before you do, look through Y1’s padel range and its Instagram so that you know the brand you would be representing.
Please let the committee know if you apply, or if Y1 approaches you: we would like to celebrate members who represent brands.
Y1 Padel is an independent company. Any sponsorship is an arrangement between the player and Y1, on Y1’s terms.
Y1 decides
Y1 sets its own criteria and terms, and chooses whom it sponsors.

These positions are open now. Posts that fall vacant during the year can be filled by the committee until the next Annual General Meeting, so there is no need to wait until Trinity Term to express interest.

Men’s Captain
Leads the men’s squad in training, league match days and the Varsity Match.

Runs Cuppers, the inter-college competition played on Sundays in term.

Looks after the club’s use of University IT and passes the records on to a successor.

Senior Member
A member of Congregation who supports the committee, signs the accounts and represents the club.

Supports the Senior Member and takes on the duties the Senior Member delegates.

Email the club with your name, college and the position that interests you, and a member of the committee will be in touch. The President, Secretary and Treasurer are elected each year at the Annual General Meeting in Trinity Term, and any member can stand.
